The Philippine government agency in-charge of Movies and Television shows, the MTRCB, have already summoned Vice Ganda together with the writers of his talk show, "Gandang Gabi Vice," to discuss setting rules on the use of comedy bar humors.
The head of Born Free Coalition, Socorro Guatlo Jr. filed the complaint to the MTRCB and well as the Commission on Human Rights. The complaint was in relations to Vice Ganda's offensive jokes to Jessica Soho's weight.
According to the complaint filed by Born Free Coalition, they asked the MTRCB Chairman Atty. Eugenio Villareal to prevent the use of comedy bar humors whose stock in trade insult on their shows.
The foundation also requested to stop the distribution of "I-Vice Ganda Mo Ako sa Araneta" CD copy in the market. The MTRCB Chairman Villareal also said that he will also meet with representatives of TV5 and GMA-7 later this month to discuss the same concern.
