The highly-anticipated teleserye featuring Julia Salvador on her first leading TV role was already cancelled according to some rumors that circulated on different social media sites.
The ABS-CBN have not yet made an official announcement regarding the news but according to some showbiz reporters the cancellation was because of the poor ratings of Julia's MMK episode.
The Cofradia story revolved around a girl who is afraid to fall in love because of her dark complexion but because of the magic candle she used, Cofradia turned into a beautiful young lady.
Racism is the other reason why Cofradia was cancelled but until press time there is no official statement yet from the Kapamilya Channel.
