The second batch of Pinoy Big Brother Otso Teen Housemates was already revealed on Sunday night, announcing the entry of Jelay Pilones, Kaori Oinuma, Lie Reposposa and Karina Bautista.
The second batch of teen housemates announced on Sunday joined the first four male teen housemates namely Seth Fedelin, Aljon Mendoza, Art Guma and Josh Worsley to finally complete the first Eight Teen Housemates who will live inside the famous PBB House.
During the Sunday's edition of Pinoy Big Brother Otso, a young sister from General Santos City, two Filipino-Japanese girls, and a former "Tawag ng Tanghalan" contestant were all picked during the second episode of the reality show's newest season.
The 17-year-old Jelay Pilones became the first teen female housemate who earned her spot after winning a challenge. She hails from General Santos City and currently studying as Grade 11 Senior High School student.
Aside from being a student Jelay already worked part-time as a singer in one of the city's music bar. She also performed as a beatbox in some of her appearance. She is dubbed as the "Sassy Sipag Girl ng GenSan."
Kaori Oinuma, an 18-year-old Filipino Japanese became part of the show after defeating three other "Star Dreamers." She helped her mother in looking for opportunities in Japan after her father couldn't provide for them.
One of the controversial contestant of Tawag ng Tanghalan who was chosen as one of the eight possible teen housemates, Lie Reposposa joined the second batch of teen housemates after she was chosen by the panel of judges to join the official eight housemates.
The last but not the least teen housemates to enter the famous Big Brother house is the half-Japanese Karina Bautista dubbed "Miss Independent ng Isabela."
The 16-year-old housemate got the ticket to enter the PBB House after getting the majority of text votes during the public voting on who among the eight will join the elite cast of PBB Otso Teens.
According to the announcement of ABS-CBN, the eight teen housemates are part of the first batch of housemates but there will be three more batches, composed of 16 adults and eight more teens.
The first eight teen housemates already entered the PBB House but there's a twist because the remaining eight "Star Dreamers" will stil have a chance to get a crack inside the PBB house but they will stay first inside Camp Star Hunt.
Once a housemate is eliminated, someone from Camp Star Hunt will take his or her place. There will always be 8 housemates inside the "PBB" house.
Each batch will stay inside the "PBB" house for eight weeks, after which a batch winner will be chosen.
